The Broker — What It Is
TabTrade.com opened in Q1 2026. Trading platform based in Saint Lucia, licensed through the FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, a FMA-regulated broker.
His background is relevant. It suggests the person running this knows how a proper broker operates. Does not guarantee anything. It is more reassuring than someone with no brokerage experience.
The broker opened with Equinix data centre access in London. Same facilities banks and hedge funds use. The typical new launch starts with a white-label MT4 setup. These guys went the other way. Not the typical playbook.
The instrument list: FX, indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, shares, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For something that launched in March 2026, that coverage is solid.
The Software
You get: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Both MT5 and cTrader from the same login. Most brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Having both matters. You are not locked into one.
MT5 is what most people know. Complete charts, EAs, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have traded on MetaTrader previously, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader by Spotware is the alternative. Better DOM. Faster charting. Native automated trading. Plenty of traders like it better than MT5 after comparing.
Direct FIX connectivity is available for automated strategies but needs the VIP account ($25,000 to open). TradingView is apparently in the works. That will round things out when it arrives.
Accounts and Pricing
Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spreads from 1.0 pips. No commission. Simple. $0 to start. Works for beginners.
Edge. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 each way. What you actually pay: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the raw spread is often a fraction of a pip. Meaning your actual cost per trade can sit below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that run raw pricing at this level ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. This broker has no minimum.
VIP. $25k to open. FIX API, execution under 20ms, tailored rates. Not something the average person. Skip it unless you run serious volume.
Infrastructure
The execution is the thing this broker separates from most new launches. Equinix data centres. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. That is proper execution targets. Most retail brokers operate at hundreds of milliseconds.
Does it matter? If you scalp, yes. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you trade higher timeframes, it matters less. The point is the infrastructure is there. That says something about priorities.
Put together those fill times with the Edge account pricing and the overall offering is strong. Not many platforms at this price point have infrastructure at this level.
Safety
This is the thing that matters. The broker is under Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No FCA. No government-backed safety net. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a problem for you, look elsewhere. There are tier-1 alternatives out there.
But. The founder spent years at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The execution setup is not cheap. Scam brokers do not invest in tier-1 data centre access. None of this replace tier-1 regulation. It should inform your assessment.
The trade-off: you trade regulatory safety. What you get instead: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether this deal is worth it is your call.
The Bonus
TabTrade has bonus funds of up to two thousand dollars. Typical deposit match. You fund your account, the broker credit extra capital. Usual conditions attached: trading volume requirements before you can withdraw the bonus. Read the conditions before you commit.
